LOCK.CGI

Lock.cgi is the functional equivalent of rats_lock. Please read the documentation for rats_lock for details. Lock.cgi is meant to used by non "root" staff and controlled through the use of htaccess files. By default it is being distributed in the same directory as vigr.cgi. If you use one and not the other please make sure that you set the right permissions so the wrong program does not get executed. If you need to run both, then place them in different directories with different access files.
